Originally from Texas, Rockfish started his radio career in 1989 at Seattle’s KISW hosting the legendary Metal Shop. Shortly afterwards he found himself providing vocals for many of Bob Rivers infamous “Twisted Tunes”. Having been a singer most of his life, he recently left Seattle’s Classic Rock Station KZOK in order to spend more time with his family and to focus on his own band R.A.F (Rockfish And Friends). Although he’s been told numerous times “he has the perfect face for radio”, Rockfish is excited to be the new host of Hot Rocks TV.

Tom Olsen - Hot Rocks Executive Producer/Director, was born in Centralia, Washington and lived there until the age of 12, when his family relocated to East LA. After experiencing the culture shock of his life, he became very interested in the music scene, his interest was cut short by a stint in the military, after which he ended up in Colorado. While there, he lived as a musician and singer, traveling around the US and Canada. Tom became a booking agent and eventually opened his own company, Golden Productions, which booked and managed bands both on the local and national level. Golden Productions also had a recording studio and a concert production staff with portable staging and sound systems. Tom moved back to Washington after deciding that raising a child while in the music business was not family friendly. Then to his surprise and amazement, his two sons grew up to be musicians…so he built them a recording studio to support their needs. Tom has a degree in computer technology and networking. He created Hot Rocks to feed his lust for high tech gadgetry. If you would like to be on our show please contact Tom at tom@streamshot.com.

Geri Nahrgang - Hot Rocks Assistant Floor Director, grew up in Seattle listening to the local bands. By the 70’s, she was learning sound engineering (analog, now quite outdated), and decided that she simply wanted to be involved in the music business in any way possible. Photography appeared to be her best bet and she started taking publicity pictures for friends and live performance photos in black and white. She kept on taking literally thousands of photos of most of the bands that appeared at the OK Hotel, Pain in the Grass, The Crocodile, the old Fenix, the Colorbox, and the Central in the 90’s. In 2000-2001, an organization was formed called Seattle Metal in which she soon became involved. She researched, wrote, edited and published the newsletter and also produced/coordinated, and booked a successful festival of 13 bands and about 25 volunteers for Seattle Metal. At the same time, she met several people who wanted to videotape bands for local access TV and for the bands’ use as well. After working with two of them, she landed with Hot Rocks.
